Installation - Asset Browser

To install the 3D Scans Asset Library, follow these steps:

1. Download DualityVersion**_AssetBrowser.zip from Blendermarket
2. Unzip the folder on your computer
3. Open Blender
4. Go to 'Edit > Preferences'
5. Navigate to File Paths > Asset Libraries
6. Select the + icon to add a new library > navigate to your unzipped folder > select the subfolder „Asset Browser“ and hit „Add Asset Library“
7. Rename the library to „Duality-3D Scans“
8. Open Blender’s Asset browser and switch from „Current File“ to „Duality-3D Scans“
9. You can import assets by clicking & dragging the icons into the Blender viewport
   

Updating the Asset Browser in Blender

To upgrade to a newer version, simply download the updated zip folder from Gumroad and follow the installation steps mentioned earlier.
Before installing the new library, make sure to delete the old asset library from your Blender preferences.

How to use the Asset Browser

You can find the Duality - Asset Library within the Asset Browser. To import assets, begin by choosing a category or simply browse all available assets. Next, drag the preview image directly into your 3D viewport, and Blender will integrate the asset for you.
For memory efficiency, consider switching the setting from "Append" to "Link" located in the Asset Browser settings beforehand.

  Preview images in the asset browser have been refreshed, making it easier to identify assets at a glance and improving overall navigation.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed Texture Set File Naming Issues
  All texture set file names have been updated to prevent overwriting issues. This ensures that textures are now correctly saved and won't be unintentionally replaced.
